GENDEX Orthoralix 9200 - Installed - NO DELIVERY CHARGE

Panoramic radiographic system film based for basic panoramic radiology.

Modular panoramic and teleradiographic system
The Gendex Orthoralix 9200 is a multifaceted and reliable modular panoramic and teleradiographic system with a comprehensive range of panoramic projections for every dental indication.

Easily achievable image quality
With the Orthoralix 9200, every user can easily take reliable radiographs of high diagnostic quality.
All functions are controlled on a side control panel with all of the control elements which are indicated by clear graphic symbols.
The motorised device positioning and patient adjustment system as well as three laser light beam localisers allow you to quickly and precisely adjust the patient's position. This important feature ensures that the image quality will remain constant because of correct geometrical alignment.

Oriented around your needs
Gendex Orthoralix 9200 systems optimally cover the full range of needs of dental diagnostics with a broad line of equipment designs and radiographic projections.
The modular multifaceted system can meet new, changing requirements and expand its capability. The Basic, AEC and Plus versions of the device as well as the program modules for panoramic exposures, dental projections, Transcan (transversal imaging) and Ceph (teleradiographs) provide solutions for every diagnostic indication in dentistry. All of the systems can be expanded at any time depending on the needs of the user.

Panoramic geometry
The Orthoralix 9200 is designed to be highly flexible so that it can take a wide variety of radiographic projections.
The rotation of the imaging unit comprising the DC x-ray tube and the image receiver (flat cassette) and the maximised processor-controlled movement along the two projection axes allow you to execute any movement sequence. A variety of radiographic and tomographic images can be created that are diagnostically relevant to dentists, orofacial orthopedists and oromaxillofacial surgeons.

Automatic exposure
The automatic exposure control (AEC) simplifies the selection of the correct exposure values. A sensor behind the image receiver detects the incident x-ray dose and corrects if necessary the programmed exposure data to correspond to the actual absorption by the patient. During the exposure, the automatic profile recognition (APR) controls the exposure in relation to the skull morphology. This yields a balanced, optimum ratio of optical density and contrast in the x-ray. AEC can also be used for teleradiographs.

Positioning system
When designing the Orthoralix 9200, particular attention was given to the methods for patient positioning since they decisively influence the general image quality and the diagnostic information.
The result is a positioning system with three laser light beam localisers for efficiently adjusting the head according to anatomical standard parameters supported by fully motorised adjusting functions. Maximum positioning precision is the result, even under difficult circumstances.
This feature allows you to simply, precisely and reliably create images with a great amount of diagnostic information.

Panoramic system

New treatment methods in dentistry require new equipment for special diagnostics that are used for initial findings, after surgery, and in follow-up examinations.
The Orthoralix 9200 panoramic system takes this into account and offers numerous different projection geometries for optimum adaptation to different diagnostic demands.
The installed basic projections include the standard panoramic x-ray, a panoramic projection adapted to the jaw morphology of a child, the orthogonal status reduced to the display of the teeth with improved orthogonality, and the isolated, lateral projection of both temporomandibular joints. Two optional additional program modules allow the creation of additional projections for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and the creation of transverse slices of the jaw for implantologists.

Programs for Panoramic Radiology
For panoramic x-rays, a comprehensive set of projections is available with constant magnification factors.

Teleradiographic system

Orthoralix 9200 Ceph
All Orthoralix 9200 systems either come equipped with a teleradiographic device (the Orthoralix 9200 ceph), or can be retrofitted with one at any time.
This feature easily and economically boosts performance.

The system is prepared for teleradiography by a simple manual alignment of the x-ray tube and selection of the imaging format.
The teleradiographic arm is equipped with a comfortable cephalostat and the image receiver, and allows the patient to be quickly and easily positioned.
A specific filter to show the soft tissue of the facial profile is adapted to the patient profile using unambiguous parameters. Manual, programmed and automatic methods are available for selecting the exposure parameters.

Teleradiographic programs
The programs includes lateral skull radiographs (LL), and anterior-posterior (AP) and posterior-anterior (PA) projections with a geometric magnification of nearly 1:1, and manual imaging.
The automatic exposure control (AEC) is also available in telephotographic mode for the Orthoralix 9200 Plus and 9200AEC versions.
