Direct Digital EvolutionOrthoralix 9200 DDE, the direct-digital design of the Gendex Orthoralix 9200 panoramic system, enables the digital recording of all panoramic, special, transcan and teleradiographic projections in real time, and their display in superior digital quality on the computer screen.
Quick diagnostics - reliable and precise. As with the conventional system, the patient positioning system and automatic exposure control (AEC) enable you to easily and reliably create x-ray images of superior quality. Digital imaging involving a very low patient dose also optimises the immediately available diagnostic results.
Designed for every applicationThe Orthoralix 9200 DDE is very easy to use even though it is a digital system designed for every dentist, orofacial orthopedist and oral surgeon and with a wide selection of projections. Minimum effort and automated processes offer maximum operating comfort. The Orthoralix 9200 DDE comes in two designs: Standard and Plus. Both versions can be expanded with the teleradiographic device set up for for digital imaging.
CCD sensorThe Orthoralix 9200 DDE records all panoramic, special, transcan and teleradiographic projections with optimum digital quality in real time at a substantially reduced patient dose in comparison with conventional film. The new, extremely compact sensor offers maximum operating comfort. The electromechanical coupling system enables a precise and reliable sensor exchange in combination devices. The Orthoralix 9200 DDE can be directly connected to an existing network (LAN) via a network connection and transmit the recorded x-ray to any connected computer.
Digital program selectionThe Orthoralix 9200 DDE basic offers both basic panoramic programs and a program for isolated anterior teeth images, a projection of the anterior region with a greater slice thickness than with the standard panoramic view, an optimised program for patients with malocclusion and for orthodontic treatments.Furthermore, the oromaxillofacial projections and transcan digital program modules are optionally available to subsequently enhance the performance of the system.
Digital teleradiographic projectionsThe Orthoralix 9200 DDE Ceph has a comprehensive set of digital teleradiographic projections for various diagnostic indications.Lateral skull radiographs (LL), anterior-posterior projections (AP) posterior-anterior projections (PA), and manual imaging are possible. For imaging of the soft tissue of the facial profile in lateral projections, a special filter and optional software are offered that can be easily adapted to each facial profile.
Variable projection geometryAs with the entire Orthoralix 9200 family, the Orthoralix 9200 DDE is equipped to make a variety of projections with a high degree of flexibility. The rotation of the imaging unit comprising the DC x-ray tube and the image receiver (flat cassette) and the maximised processor-controlled movement along the two projection axes allow you execute any movement sequence. A variety of images can be made that are of diagnostic interest for dentists.
Patient positioningA positioning system with three laser light beam localisers is used as the basic tool for efficiently adjusting the head according to anatomical standard parameters with support from the fully motorised adjusting functions. Maximum positioning precision is the result, even under difficult circumstances. Operation is easy and comfortable; only a few steps are required. All included positioning aids are characterised by simplicity, stability and precision. Special positioning aids are provided for special projections such as transcan or temporomandibular images.
Automatic emission control (AEC) For maximum diagnostic quality, the automatic emission control comes standard with all Orthoralix 9200 DDE units. The sensor detects the incident x-ray dose and corrects if necessary the selected, programmed exposure data to correspond to the actual absorption by the patient. This yields a balanced, optimum ratio of optical density and contrast in the x-ray.
Digital Teleradiographic Unit
The Orthoralix 9200 DDE Ceph has a newly developed digital teleradiographic unit that enables teleradiographic projections with short scanning times. For ease of use in restricted spaces, the sensor holder can be rotated 90° while changing the sensor. All Orthoralix 9200 DDE systems can be retrofitted with the teleradiographic unit.
Network connection The network connection allow the Gendex Orthoralix 9200 DDE to be directly connected to an existing network structure (LAN) to transmit images to any connected computer.
Depending on user requirements, the Gendex Orthalix 9200 DDE can also be connected to a stand-alone computer via a network card installed in the computer.
